Technical Editor


A career with Boson Software provides you an opportunity to help produce the most recognized IT certification preparation materials available. The Technical Editor is responsible for maintaining the high quality, consistency and content style of Boson products by overseeing grammar, formatting and overall appearance of our NetSim® Lab manuals, ExSim-Max practice tests, Marketplace exams, Courseware, and Boson Software and Training Web pages, blogs, brochures and marketing materials.

The Technical Editor will be expected to research, read, interview and analyze all available sources of relevant material and information in order to professionally edit original, complete, accurate and challenging exam and lab manual content while thoroughly documenting all resources used in the editing process. You will be expected to learn commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the various IT certifications we support. You will engage with our developers, programmers and other team members to find solutions for content errors, problems or questions.

Our ideal candidate has a B.A./B.S. in English, Journalism or other significantly related field. We prefer a minimum of two years of experience with technical writing or editing technical documentation, user manuals and/or support materials. Obviously, excellent command and use of the English language, grammar and syntax is required. Your experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign is necessary. Basic HTML skills are preferred. We will train you in our proven standards of writing style and delivery. Focus and attention to detail are necessary.

This position interfaces with a variety of corporate team members. Typical of most desk jobs you will be using a computer and monitors, mouse, telephone and reference materials including books and style guides.  Expect to work seated, steadily and quietly for extended periods of time. Customer Service Associate


We have an immediate opportunity for you to work with the industry leader in the IT certification preparation business. Customer Service Associates are responsible for professionally and patiently responding to all customer inquiries about the purchase and use of Boson Software products via telephone, customer support ticket and e-mail systems.  Our product line includes our NetSim® Network Simulator, ExSim-Max Practice Exams, Marketplace exams and Courseware. Use your great people skills to help increase our sales and maximize satisfaction for our international customer base while learning about the IT certifications we support.

Our preferred candidate has a degree in IT, Business, Communications, Marketing or other related discipline. One to two years of practical work experience is expected. Experience with computer-based training applications, help desk, networking and/or the IT certification process will be preferred along with competency using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook. Additionally, your willingness to patiently listen to the customer and creatively and enthusiastically solve problems is necessary. Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
